I forgot to make a post the other day! Rylee turned 9 months on the 4th! She's getting so big. We had her check-up on Friday. She is 17lbs 15oz and 28.75inches! Just .25 inches away from being too big for her infant seat. I'm looking forward to using her big girl seat, but then again I'm not. It's huge, and our car is tiny... It'll be difficult for James to drive it with Rylee in the car. Once she's forward facing it wont be a problem, but until then it will be. We're going to hang on to her infant seat for a little longer, at least through next Saturday. We're going to the zoo and the back seat will be filled with my soon to be sister in law and her friend and Rylee, so I don't want to put the massive seat in there just yet. But, we'll probably install it Sunday. I just can't believe how time has flown. It feels like she was just an itty bitty baby not too long ago. Now she's a talker, well babbler, no English words yet. She'll walk if you help keep her balanced. Before we know it she'll be in school! Ugh! I don't want my baby to grow up quickly, but I can't wait to see the person she'll become!
She kind of looks like she's plotting something, lol. But it's so stinkin' cute!
Aw! Nathan is 9 months old today!!
ReplyDeleteWe have a convertible car seat that fits rear facing in my little neon perfectly!

I actually don't think it's any bigger than the infant seat with the base, maybe a little taller. We really like it, and Nathan likes it a LOT better than the infant seat.
OMGOSH She is just sooo cute!
Aww! He has the 8-9-10 birthday! That's so cool! We have the Safety 1st Complete Air 65. It's big, but the major problem is the angle at which it has to be for rear facing. It leans pretty far back, which makes the seats have to be close to the dash.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I think she's super cute!
